Home is Safety

At home, I am not alone. I have a family that greets me at the door. At home, I feel loved and safe like the clock just stopped, and time can wait. So many memories, laughter and joy I can’t wait to make many more. So many emotions hit hard like a wave But others, I put a bright smile on my face. My family and I sometimes throw a fit, But even then nothing can drag us apart. We’re like glue, we always stick together. Home is more than just four walls or a building. A home can be anywhere by the beach, in the desert, or by a lake. Home is where you are with the people you love. Even though it might be hard sometimes, You might be stressed, angry or sad Your loved ones will always be there for you That is more important than a home.
