What Home Means to Me

Do you know what the difference between a house and home is? It took me a little while to write this and fully understand what the difference is. People who never had a home understand more easily what a home means to them. But I have always had a home with a roof over my head and a family that loves and supports me. So it took me a little while to write this. A home to me is different from yours but it is my way of home. It makes me feel loved, happy, comfortable and like I belong. Home is mostly my quiet place but with three younger siblings, there is lots of fighting. Yes my siblings are annoying but they would help me if I were in trouble and I would do the same for them. I love my siblings so much, even if they are the most annoying people in the world! Second, my mom is the one who keeps the house in order but she also helps me with stuff like this. She helped me with this and if you were wondering no she did not help me with this part about how amazing she is but she is and I love her so much. Third, my dad supports me in my sports. For Ringette he was there for my first and I bet my last game. Finally, my puppy brings me comfort and joy. Some people say dogs are not a part of your family, well, he is to me. Whenever I cry he is right there beside me. When I am happy he is there too. I also have many happy memories with my old dog that brings me joy. I'm so thankful for my family and home.
