What does home mean to me?

Home has never just been just a place on a map, for me. It's more like a feeling that follows me around, showing up in the most expected ways in my life. And it’s not just a home it’s like family, community environment and the world! Home is like a big place where I feel safe, and happy with your big family. When you play with your family or friends, you laugh with joy together. You smell the beauty of the air and when I lie down on the fresh green grass, I see a clear blue sky and a big golden sun. The bright sun shines in my eyes of kindness and happiness. I smell colourful flowers in the gardens of my grandmother’s. Inside the house, you can smell your parents cooking you delicious food or Flavorful and sweet desserts. One day, I was completely stuck on my language homework, and I just stared at the first page like it was written in another language. After a while, my mom noticed how frustrated I was and sat down beside me. She didn’t give me the answers, but she walked me through the steps slowly, asking little questions that she helped me think and learn. With her calm explanations, everything finally started to make sense. It reminded me how much easier things become when someone takes the time to guide you. When I lie down on my bed, I feel relaxed, calm, and cozy. My bed is so soft that I can melt into the deep dark blue night .I can lay down on my gentle bed all night. My bed just feels like it covers me around like a blanket and many feathers around me and beside my bed. I feel safe in my bedroom, where everything smells like home. There is a big window, so I can see the bright moonlight. It was right beside my window pouring into my room. I learned that no matter where you go to a new place or some place, it is still a home .
