Treat Home as Family

Home is not just a building. Not just a house. It's the place where you feel safe. It's a place to go at the end of a long day. To me home is a place to be together, to feel loved, and to be surrounded by a caring family. Home is a feeling. It feels like a big hug around you. Home is like a sun on a rainy afternoon. Home is many different feelings. It has a spot in your heart. Home is family, spending time with the people you love, your pet, and the small inside jokes only you understand. I'm so lucky to have my own room and space to do what I love. I live in such a big beautiful house. Me and my dad sit down and talk at night just before I go to sleep. Our family trips to William's Harbour are the best, it feels like a second home. We stay overnight and my brother and I play The Floor is Lava. Me and my mom like to go berry picking while we're there. Whenever I'm sad I can snuggle up with my pet. I can always count on my family to make me feel good. Home is a beautiful place and I hope Habitat for Humanity can help many wonderful people ger the home they deserve. Thank you Habitat for Humanity!
