Beyond Four Walls

Family looks out for each other. My mom makes me feel safe like no one has made me feel before. My dad and I go fishing together and we talk endlessly. My brother and I may fight but I know he would do anything for me. My home is where I grow, where I’m loved and cherished. My family is home. My cat makes me feel happy when he has his catnip toy and he snuggles up to me in bed . He licks his paws as he falls asleep. My Friend Naavin has 3 cats. Grover is 16 and grumpy Cheetos is fat and Sleepy Annie is the runt 2 and cute When we hang out on the weekend I feel at home. My cats and friends are home. Family is not my only home. Dance is my second home. I can be myself and express myself through dance. Dance is home. Home is my favorite place to be.
