The Importance of Home

The importance of home By Violet Marras The meaning of home is so much more than a place; it's our safe space. Sometimes you can't see colors in the world but other times when you're happy you can see them everywhere. So beautiful. Another thing that makes me think of home is my pets, and always feeling safe. Something that makes me happy is when my mom makes meatballs, they feel warm to the soul. I have three pets. There are cats that are very fluffy and they are super warm and cuddly. They love to play but sometimes they attack each other. On a cold day I like to be snuggled up in my blankets, fluffy to the touch. I remember going to Japan. It was warm during the day and cold at night. Some memories were happy and some were sad but it's okay because we have each other. I feel so lucky to have my friends and family. Sometimes you have to go to a new home. When you're moving to a new place you make new friends, and keep the friends and memories that you made back where you lived. Home is safe, it's a place to feel happy, it is more than a place, it's our safe place where we can express our feelings, love. Home is where I feel happy and sometimes I feel down. What home feels to me is my comfort zone and I love it so much, so it means a lot to me. I’m so grateful for my family and pets. I love my sister, my mom, cats, and my dad. They are all the best. Especially my sister. I love her even though sometimes we fight. My family makes me smile. Now that's the most important part of home.
