Meaning of Home

A house is a structure with a table and chairs. But home is a place where love is shared. A house might have gadgets, like a screen or a phone, But it can’t beat a home, in which you can never be alone. A house has an upstairs, a downstairs and a basement. But a home is a place, with zero replacement. A house might have deco, and plants and art. But a home has family, from which you’ll never grow apart A house might have a bed or a pillow soft rug. But a home is the place that will give you a real hug. A house has materials, and you can always get more. But a home has love that can’t be bought at a store. A house might have a board game, or a bundle of cards. But a home has people that can help when things are hard. A house might have toys, or a nice ball pit. But a home is like a puzzle, where everyone fits. Thank you Habitat for Humanity, for trying to get everyone a puzzle that they fit into.
