Home Is Not Just A Structure…

To me, home is the place you can always come back to, a shelter of peace when the day is through. It isn't a structure of wood or of stone, but a feeling of safety, is when you know it’s your home. Think of it like although most homes are built with bricks and beams, they are all filled with love and all full of dreams. Now I'm going to tell you, what I think is so great about how you can always come back to your home… It is never too late. A home is a place you can always come back to, the times when you’re happy, the times when you’re blue. You can always count on it, it is always there, it’s the one place in the world where you get the most care. It’s where memories grow like a beautiful flower, it’s the place where I go, where I'm studded by its power. The power of peace and the power of love… that is what a home is really made of. Behind that door where toys are spread, and all those stories waiting to be read. A home is not walls and floor, but memories & happy times from before. A place where you can let out all of your feelings, it’s not just a house, which is a ceiling. In other words it’s not a map or wall or part, it’s a real special feeling within your heart. It’s a place where you can truly be, without a mask, entirely free. That is home A bee has a hive and a bird has a nest, but my home is the one that I like the best. No matter how big, no matter how small, home is the place where you cherish it all. Habitat for Humanity… you didn’t just build a wall, you helped someone in need, you helped them stand up tall.
