My Home is…

My home is not just a place you go for no reason nor just a house. A house is just somewhere you go. A home is somewhere you are loved, You feel happy and safe. This is somewhere that, when you come home, you can smell cookies being baked in the oven. Somewhere you can feel the worm fire in the fireplace. You can play with your family and laugh a while. A home is somewhere you can be comfortable, joyful and feel welcome. Home is somewhere you feel you belong. When you come home you hear conversations in a room. You can also hear the stove sizzling with dinner on it when you get home. Home is somewhere that you can have what you need to be successful and of course to be happy. Basically all this is just to feel love, smell good things and hear fun. But there can also be bad feelings, for example, sad, mad, anxious, lonely, fear and basically every single possible feeling you could ever think about. Home is a place where these feelings can get sorted out and supported. This is what I think a home is and this might not be like yours exactly, but this is mine exactly. What is home to you?
