Home.
Home is a comforting word. When I think of home, I think of my loving family and the traditions we have together.
Home is a forever happy place to be. I eat, sleep and make memories with my family at my home. Home makes me feel like a little cozy turtle in its shell. I imagine home is like a seashell. Seashells are beautiful and precious like your home, and over time the memories in your home become more and more special. The moments I have in my home are more valuable than gold and diamonds. I love my home because I have a cozy, fuzzy, warm bed where I can sleep soundly, softly and safely.
Another example of what home means to me is my Lolo and Lola. Lolo and Lola mean grandma and grandpa in Tagalog (Filipino). My Lolo and Lola make traditional foods that make me feel very Filipino the second I bite into that amazing stuff!
My dog, Chopper, also makes me feel very at home. Chopper is a round-looking black lab that got his name from a style of motorcycle that my dad likes to build. Chopper makes me happy because he is so silly and cute. Chopper is also a bad boy once in awhile, sneaking into my room to steal stuffed animals and socks and laying on my toes all the time.
Home is a comforting word; that is what home means to me.
