Meaning of Home

Home means that when you come home, you should feel safe and welcome. A couch should not just be a couch; it should be a place where you tell stories. And a bedroom is not just a room. It’s where you read and play. If a house just feels normal, it’s not a home. A home is a place where you have fun, parties, and celebrate loved ones. And a house is just not the same. When I come home, my dog runs to me. And I smell freshly baked cookies on the counter. When I look at the wall, I see pictures of my family trips, that brings back memories. In a house, things are different. A home means light, warmth, happiness. Home means that when you tell someone something, they understand. They help you care for yourself. A home is where you are loved. A house is where the couch is normal, and your room is normal. No love and no excitement. A house is where you make memories and extremely strong bonds with your family members. And when you go to college and buy your own house, it will never be the same. And when you return, you have all your memories with you. And when you start your own family, you will relive everything again. Home is where you go on walks or go swimming with your friends and family. A house is just a house, but a home is more.
