What does a home mean to me?To me a home is a safe loving place where I feel happy in the living room playing games with my cousins and making memories. When I get back home the smell of my dads cooking makes me feel at home. Celebrating different holidays, having a family party. I can smell the fried rice from the kitchen to the living room while waiting for dinner to be ready. I feel lucky to have a great, safe and loving home but it's not always the same. Sometimes there is yelling and complaining and it's loud and hurts my ears so I put on my headphones and listen to songs to block all the noise. Deep down my parents still love each other, there's just disagreements. Everything is not perfect but there's still love and respect in my family. I’m just glad I have a safe family where I feel loved. My family is amazing and comforting its not perfect. Having joy in my family and getting loved is very important to me. My family may not be perfect but it doesn’t mean they're not great. Now I've gotten used to the loudness and I don’t mind. I just enjoy being with my family and spending time with them. Nothing is 100% and nothing will be, so just be yourself don’t always try to fit sometimes, you should be who you want to be.
