Home isn't Just a Place

The meaning of home is everything. It's the place when you were little you used to fake sleep just so your parents could carry you back to bed. Also where you used to cry to have your baby bottle just so you can fall asleep fast. Home is when you're little and you take your moms phone to watch youtube. It's where your toys were on the ground and your mom had to pick them up. Your kitchen is where you smell warmth and something delicious called food and where your parents cook for you. It's where your friend came over to bake cookies. Home is when you're on a call with your friends and doing trends. Home is like a bright sun when you're happy, and a sad, dark moon when you're sad. Home is where your cat will comfort you when you're sad, and when your dog tugged on your pants to play. It's where your brothers or sisters used to chase you, cause you mocked them for losing a game. Home is a place you can feel happy, sad, scared, and mad. It's the place where you grew up and it will not just be a place it will be a memory. It will be a home that you will never forget. Home can be anywhere but where is my home? Is it in South Africa or Canada? Do I have to go back to South Africa for it to be home? Or do I have to stay in Canada? Is home just a place to live? Or is it everywhere? Home is like when you went into your backyard to see a squirrel running on your backyard tree. Home can be anywhere it can be your home country. It can be when you're driving to go to the airport just to go to Paris to your new home. Home isn't just a place that you're going to stay forever you can move which can be scary but fun too.
