Why Home means Home?
It's not about how big or small your house is, it's about what's in it!
A house is a structure, but a home is a place that holds memories you cherish from young to grown or new to old.
Think of your home like a gift to you, it's a place with all of the people you love and things you love. My home feels like home because of the smell that hovers through my house when my mom bakes biscoff cookies in the kitchen or the comfort of my pets when they cuddle with me or maybe its my room where i sleep every night and can find peace or it might be the loving people that come along with it, but i think its all of that it's the place that you wanna beagle to call home.
Home is a place where you can cook delicious meals, a place where you can feel safe and known, home is a place like no other, where you can laugh on repeat, and home is where you can be yourself at all times and not feel judged, a place where you can shower to get clean in, and a place with a comfy bed that you can sleep in.
Home is a place where you might've learned how to walk, talk, and run. Home is always a place with never ending fun, that's why I can call my home, home. Hopefully after reading this you can too!
Thanks to Habitat for Humanity for giving other people who can't have a home a chance to enjoy one, just like me!
