My HOME Is…

My home is my sanctuary, my place, my home. No limit to my imagination because it never gives up at home. My Mom, dad, brother, two sisters, my cat Buttons, my gecko Garry, live here with me. My family gathers at the table for food. We enjoy food and super yummy desserts. My mom shares her yummy soft crunchy home made bread and yummy treats. Here peanut-butter cookies always hit the spot, especially the warm from the oven. The fire crackles keeping me and my siblings warm on cold nights. We huddle like peas in a pod with hot chocolate. Or when I’m by myself I will listen to music, play Minecraft or more. I can express my feelings with no pressure or embarrassment. My happiness can not be experts when I am home. Home is where I play with sister’s, my brother, and Mom and Dad. The world stops and all that matters is who and what is in the house. We all live united under the word "family". We as a family live in are home. Our pets are happy and safe in are home. My nose picks up the scent of warm cookies, pie, mac-and-cheese, and fresh soup. I can see all the pretty decorations and colors. All I see in my home belongs here. Our home has bedrooms, bathrooms, and a kitchen. Everything we need to live is in our home. My room is my land. My brothers and sisters have their land too. My dads and my moms room is their headquarters to all of the house. They stop fights and settle arguments, they keep the home safe. We all do our part to keep our home safe. We clean it, fix it, and pay taxis to keep our home safe. We can go outside, but in danger we retreat to our home. I’m grateful for our home. In our Home we can be sad, we can cry, we feel sorrow. But we are here in our Home. We share, we feel, we smell, we see, we all are ourselves in our home.
