What home means to me
Home is a very meaningful word. It gives shelter, warmth, and happiness to those inside it. A home protects those who are inside from strong winds, harsh snowfall, and thunder which shakes the skies above. What’s more important than home is family. Your family cheers you up when you are down. When in doubt, you can ask your family for help. When I am sad, I spend time with my family to make me feel better. If there is ever something that I cannot solve on my own, I can ask my parents for advice. A family is there to help you, not harm you. If you need help, you can ask them.
I like to play many different games with my brother, to pass time when I’m bored. When my family comes together and we all play a board game, I feel happy. Every fun moment with your family is to be cherished, not forgotten. Once a memory with your family is forgotten, you might never have it back again.
Your family is there to protect you. However, your family can protect you most of the time, but never forget the place which protects everyone in your family is a home.
A home is there for your safety and shelter. Without a home, we wouldn’t be as happy. A home can keep us warm during the freezing winters. A home can protect us from loud thunderstorms and harsh rain splattering outside. The Habitat for Humanity helps those who don’t have a home. Those who don’t have a home aren’t as lucky as those who do. We should all be grateful that we have a home. Everyone deserves to have someplace to live, sleep, and spend time with family, no matter who they are.
