What is a home and why do we all wish for one?

Many people think that home and house are the same thing; they can be together but that doesn't mean they're the same. It's like peanut butter and jam; they can be together and they're usually together, but they can also be separate. So, what's the difference between a home and a house? A house is a shelter, but a home can be created anywhere as long as you have your family with you. Home is a feeling, a comfort, stuffed with memories. Think about it, would a person be happier all alone with luxuries or with others? Well, I believe the answer for most people would be together. We all need comfort and support otherwise loneliness would take a toll. So what’s a home made up of? I see a lot of items since home is not made up of objects, it’s made up of multiple things like family, pets, feelings floating in the air like love and happiness! I hear laughter bouncing off the wall, devices ring ring, with silly noises in every corner. I smell different types of food like salty, spicy, sweet wafting in the air, the delicious smell is irresistible. I taste sweet sugar and spice, rich masala and soothing tastes. Home is like a soft, wooly blanket that warms you up on the coldest days. It's like the strongest safety net wrapped around you to keep you safe. All of these things, different, and together in a binding harmony. Home is different for everyone, it's not the same and that's what makes it UNIQUE to you! It's the place where you are safe no matter what. It's a place where you can be yourself and celebrate your religion and who you are. It’s the place where you are YOU! This is my meaning of home!
