The Meaning of Home

Home is a meaningful place to me.In the kitchen I taste my mom’s delicious cooking And I feel so nice and thankful. In the living room I hear my sister playing her flute gently and I feel so joyful.In my bedroom I touch my teddy and snuggle up with him and I feel sleepy.In my parent’s bedroom I can hear my dad typing on his computer and I feel so focused.In the dining room I can see my family eating their dinner together peacefully and I feel so cheerful and hopeful.In the garden I feel so safe and secure.In the attic I feel so curious and relaxed.In the basement I feel so energetic .When I sit on the couch I feel so positive.I sit on my front porch and I see my neighbors waving at me and I feel welcomed.I walk into the door I hear my sister’s pleasant voice and I feel happy.When I go to the kitchen my mom greets me with a hug as I taste fresh baked cookies.As I make my way up the the stairs I touch the cold railing and I feel a whip of energy running through my hands.I go to my room and I smell the scented candle on my desk.I walk into my dad’s room as he smiles at me cheerfully and I tell him everything that happened in school. I walk into the basement while no one is there though I still felt that peaceful sensation.Finally I go to the dining room and I feel so proud when I see my family being together.This is my amazing home.
