Meaning of Home

Did you know a house is way different then a home? Houses have walls and doors with doorknobs and a small mail boxes! Houses can also have fluffy pink pillows or long dinner tables. Houses can be big, small or even have a pool! Just because there is a bed and comfy pillows doesn't mean it feels like a home just for you. A house's tv room has a nice couch and a neat tv, with pillows and snacks. But what is a home? Homes have a feel of your own! Homes are like a shelter for love and open arms. Homes give you a safe place to feel feelings. It's also a safe place to talk about things you can’t always in a house. Homes can also be felt in a friend's house. Most home’s can have conflict and frustration but there is always a type of table you can sit and work it out. A table can be used for games and food with tiny vegetables sneaked in by your mom or dad. I have a certain place in my home that I use to sleep, read or even be quiet just laying there, It’s my extra safe place. A home is where lots of bad or good memories swirl around the room or place. I think everyone needs a home with laughter, love, memories and feelings. If I didn’t have a home I wouldn’t be as happy as I am now! Thank you Habitat for Humanity for making homes for more funny memories filled with love and laughter!
