What a Home Is to Me

This is what a home is to me. It is something that everyone should have; it makes people feel safe, happy and excited for stuff. Homes have a lot of space for you and your family. There are warm cozy beds to sleep in with your friends and family; it is so good to cuddle with friends and family too. If you have a house you are lucky, because a lot of people don’t have a house and they have to live on the streets. It would be really hard to live on the streets because if you couldn’t afford a house or a job, you would be something that we call homeless. Then you might live on cardboard or something like that and you would have to ask strangers for stuff like money, maybe a blanket in winter for some warmth, food and water and stuff like that. I don’t think a lot of people would like it and I wouldn’t like it either. So we need to be thankful that we have a home and our parents have jobs and we have some friends too. If we didn't have enough money for a house then we might not have enough money to have a place to call home. And that is what a home is to me.
