What Home Means to Me
I turn the knob of the door,
It seems so simple but there’s so much more!
Homes much more than four walls and a roof,
Its a place where you won’t be aloof!
It’s where you learn to get up when you fall,
The place where you can fail and find your solace.
Homes the place to learn and grow,
To face your fears and drive them off.
So, tragic it is to see families striving,
To thrive.
May it be for poverty or disasters,
That make them deprive.
Blessed are those with home to stay,
With shelter, kindness and a place to play
