The Meaning of Home

There are a lot of feelings that people have about home but what does home mean to me? To me home is many things: it’s family, love, security, safety and where I am cared for. Home is a family who I love dearly and I am loved back. Family is like a sports team. You are the athlete and they are your fans cheering you on. Also, whenever I try to think about home I find myself thinking about family because with family anywhere can be home. To me family is support. They stand behind you no matter what even if they don't agree with you. Lastly, family is fun and time spent together doing what each of us likes. My mom, me and my aunts love cooking in the summer. We have a big pig roast every year and we make desserts and salads . me and my older brother Elliot love having light shows. Sometimes we turn off all the lights and use flash lights and disco-like flashlights. So that's what home means to me there doesn't need to be a roof over my head or 4 walls around me as long as I have my family there anything is possible.
