What Home Means To Me

What is home to you? To me, home is a safe place to hold great memories, like when we moved into our home. It was very empty and it had an echo...so I pretended I was in a cave and made a castle out of the moving boxes. Later that day, I found a secret cabinet under the staircase. Another early memory of our new house is the time when we had to wait for someone to install wifi for the television; it took them a really long time because they kept putting it in the wrong place. The reason I wanted it so bad was because we just got Netflix. Home is also people...like the time I met my best friend Dilara, and we got ice cream at the farmers market. Everyone deserves a good home, to make great memories, to have good friends, and to have somewhere to go at the end of the day. Home is a place to have good and bad memories. I am very lucky to have a good home, and I will be forever grateful.
