The Meaning of Home

What home is to me and why it is... Home. Home wouldn’t be home without technology. The first thing I do on a snow day is going out and shovel, but the second thing I do is go on my Xbox and chat and play video games with my friends and just relax and have fun. Sometimes I get bored and just want to be entertained so I go on YouTube or some other social media apps/websites and watch funny videos. At the end of the day, once I’m done with everything I had or wanted to do, I usually watch tv with my brother. Home would be pretty strange without technology and relaxing. Home wouldn’t be a thing without family. Home without my brother would be very weird, almost as weird as it is with him at home because he is very energetic, we argue a lot but then five minutes after we will probably doing something with each other like it never once happened. I do lots of fun activities with my family like skiing, camping, and other things like that. My family is very social so we like to go to friends’ houses and travel to different places. Family = Home and Home = Family. I have always lived near the lake. I live right at the lake and so do a lot of my friends, so we always have lots of fun swimming in the summer and skating in the winter. For many years I have been pushing my brother in the lake right when he won’t expect it, but he always laughs after so its no problem. I like snorkeling in the summer and trying to catch fish with my hands and seeing how deep I can go before there is too much pressure on my ears. Home would be different without the lake. Those are things that make my home.
