What Home Means to Me
Home is where my family is. Home is where I feel happy. Home is where my toys are. Home is where someone waits for me.
Home is where I feel the safest. Home is where I can fall asleep without fear. Home is where I can ask endless questions. Home is freedom, where I do not have to pretend. When I am scared or upset, home is where I go for comfort. At home, there is always someone to listen, even if they do not always agree.
Home is the place where I can talk about my everyday experiences. Sometimes, when I have arguments or feel disappointed, I come back home and talk about my emotions with my parents. Home holds memories, small, everyday moments such as the smell of my favourite food, the sound of laughter while watching a comedy show, and moments that seem ordinary become special over time.
Home means belonging. It is where I am loved for who I am, and I am accepted even when I make mistakes. Home is a safe and loving space. Home is much more than just a building; it is the relationships we build and the connections we make that stay with us forever.
