Home is My Story Book

Right now you're probably thinking to yourself “Well a home and a house are the same thing!” Well there is actually a difference, while a house is all about the structure, a home is what makes you smile, makes you laugh and well it’s kind of like a story. My home is my storybook and I’m the author, Chapter one, Once upon a time. I wake up in my room to the sight of my Arcane and Stranger Things posters that cover my walls to the point where I can barely see my wallpaper. I walk down the creaking stairs to the fresh smell of my mom’s curry as I wait patiently for it to cool down. I turn the page and I see all of my paintings hung upon the living room, and like always the same antique vase filled with fake flowers that has been here since the beginning of the story is still in the corner of the living room, and I walk down to the basement so I can find my favorite blanket as I bundle up. But sometimes stories take a crazy turn. Chapter two Chaos, I turn the page and I see myself hiding in a box and before I know it my dad comes through the door, and I pop out of the box yelling “BOO!” and then my dad responds with “I will get you back” with a smirk on his face. On the next page I see that he put hot sauce in my food! We laugh it off and then watch a movie. So you see there is a difference between a home and a house, and I think everyone deserves their own story. The end.
