Why My Home is Home

My home is my safe place, my everything because I can come from school and hear the barks from my dog and my family. It enlightens my whole mood and relaxation and we gather together to share our feelings freely. I have my own amazing and cozy room where I play Garfield Racing Cart with my mom and M1K and also cuddle and laugh. Some memories that will stick to me forever are: the time I snuck my dog into my room; played PS5 games with my sister; the time I watched Jack The Frost on Christmas time; another was when I watched Migration with my dad and ordered pizza! It felt so good! The best part of being home after school is when my mom cooks steak - scent comes right up your nostrils! We all just…relaxing…doing what we were supposed to do in life: which is spending quality time as family. It’s also home because it is not about the walls and building. It’s where all the memories are made. Where we make traditions, celebrate holidays with family and friends. I feel warm and happy cuddling with my family and dog. When I come home, I see a house full of love, yummy food and it makes me feel me! And no matter what happens it will always be home!
