Home is Where the Heart is
People that can afford to have a roof over their head should be grateful because some people don’t have one and everyone deserves to have a place to call their own. This is what home means to me.
A home doesn’t matter if it has a pool or a TV. It doesn’t matter if you must share a room with your brothers or sisters. A home is a place where you feel safe. A home makes you feel happy and makes you smile. A home makes you feel warm. Home is a place where you can talk and don’t have to lie. A place where you can be you. A place where you don’t have to be scared. Home is where you make memories so you can look back and smile. Home is where you love, where you laugh. Home is where the heart is. I am grateful for my home, and I want to help others feel the same way I do. Everyone deserves a house to make into their own version of home.
