Why Is Home Important?

Home is like an indestructible fortress made to protect me and my family, I feel safe when I’m in this fortress like I never have to worry. Home’s like a calm warm summer day, the wind quietly humming a song to me as my mother did when I was younger. When I come into my home it smells like a freshly made stew that my mother just made for my family. When I think of my house I picture a small paradise island made just for me and my family. Home is like a warm hug after a cold winter day, warm and cozy. Whenever I think of my home I think of a small place full of loving family that care about me and want to see me succeed. That is why home is important to me, not because of the building but because of the people in it, the people in it are my home.
