Home is Not Just a Building

Home is not just a place where you live, it is a place where you feel safe, have a comfortable bed, and a place to sleep. Home is a place where you are surrounded by the people who love and care for you. Home is a place where you are happy and can be with your family and friends. Home is anywhere you can express your feelings and your life, no matter what it's about. Home is where you can go when you’re feeling sick. Home is where you can play sports and games you love. You don't know how lucky you are to have a warm house or a loving and caring family, because some people are living in the cold with nowhere to go home to, or nobody to talk to when things get hard, no food to eat, no roof over their head, no clean water to drink, no comfortable bed to sleep in, nowhere to go when they are sick, no family to talk to. Just a lame old tent to hope it doesn't get stolen. Sitting on the street and asking for a dollar so that you can get a little snack or a bottle of water to stay alive. It's when everything is gone that you realize how lucky you were. So always be grateful for what you have, even if it's something small.
