What Home is to Me
Home is my country, it's safe and I can learn there.
Home feels like my country. Firstly, I celebrate traditions like Diwali and birthdays. I go to prayers and eat food that is from my culture. Also, I can also smell my moms butter chicken from the kitchen at night when I come downstairs from my room. MMM delicious!
Home can also be safe. When I come home I feel safe and happy in and at my happy place. In addition, I feel cozy and relaxed and no one can hug me except the gentle hugs from my siblings. They are AWESOME!
I can learn at home whether it's math or learning how to walk. If I'm at home my parents can help me but if I'm at school my teacher and friends can help me. For example, I can learn from my mom how to braid my sister's hair.
That is what home means to me. What does home mean to you?
