A Turtle’s True Home
A Turtle swimming against river flow.
Where is his home? He does not know.
He will keep looking, he will fight.
He looked for his home, each day and each night.
What is a home? And where could it be?
He swam through the river and into the sea.
The Turtle passed sea caves and cities of light,
But he found no homes that felt quite right.
I’ve traveled the world and found no home,
But my home is with me, my turtle shell dome.
I will travel, though I am small,
I can still go out there to see it all!
My home protects as I pass land and seas,
While I curl up at home and make memories.
The Turtle’s home is with him as he goes.
He may climb mountains, cross oceans, who knows?
