A Place I Feel is Special

Have you ever wondered what makes home so special? The food, the people OR the home itself? Well, I’m here to tell you why home is so special to me! So, have you ever wondered why you feel so free and good when you get home? For me it’s the hugs and kisses I get right as I walk in. I always run to my mom and hug her because I feel so warmed up in her arms (maybe because I spent 9 months with her) but when I feel her, I feel safe knowing she’s right there with me! In the kitchen we have special and cultural dinners, but it's not only the food, it’s the memories and stories we share while eating! Most of the time it's me and my brother sharing about our day at school. The moment my mom brings the food to the table, my mouth starts watering and the smell of spices fill my mind. In the living room we playboard games and laugh with joy! The living room is also a place that release’s my stress and helps me focus on my loving family. At night my room feels like treasure, where I wrap myself in my blanket. My blanket comforts me through the dark nights. It's like a little small house that only I can go in. From the outside it looks weird, but on the inside its just simply amazing (TRY IT!!!) You may not think anything of it, but when you think really deep, you’ll realize home is not just a building!
