What Home Means to Me
What home means to me. A home is where you have enough love and laughter with your family. A home is where you are warm enough to sleep. A home is a good place to take care of my baby sister. A home is where you are safe enough to play, I love my home. It is like a cozy, fluffy bear wrapping its hands around me. I am grateful for my home. It is the coziest place where I could stay forever, but one day that coziest place could go away. I used to live in this apartment building everything there was crowded and busy. It was a 2-bedroom apartment, I had to share my room with my 4 siblings including my 1-year-old sister. She would wake me up every time at the middle of the night, I was exhausted every time when she woke me up, but I was still thankful because some people don’t even have a home. Then after a while we moved to a new cozy home. I was very excited to live in it. It was the perfect house I could live in. I think home means a welcoming, happy place to live. A house is where you have brought in food, but in my home, we have my mom’s cultural food. I appreciate my home for being the loveliest place to live. I also appreciate how Habitat for Humanity gives houses to people in need. Thank you.
