A house is not a home!
From the wise words of Dionne Warwick “a chair is still a chair even if nobody is sitting there. But a chair is not a house and a house is not a home.” Hello, my name is Hadley King and I will be answering the question ‘what does a home mean to you?’ My house is in the region of Angus but as I said, a house isn’t a home so what or where is my home? Let me tell you! Every other weekend I visit my mother living in the region of Orillia for a night. That is what home means to me. I might not live there every day. I go there around twice in a month to be precise but that doesn't change what my home is. In my eyes a home is where you feel safe, loved and unafraid to be your own beautiful self! It doesn’t matter whether you live there everyday or only see it once a year, whatever you find comfort, safety and love in is a home!
In my home family means the most! My two brothers, Rory and Gavin, my mother, Sara (but called mom) and my cat, Frankie! But now I’m going to relay the question, what does home mean to you? That was my poem, see you around!
