My home is my happy place

There is a difference between a home and a house. A home is where you feel happy and loved, your home could be a school, a friends house, or anywhere really. A house is a place where you live, and some people do not feel loved and feel like they belong there. My home is a loving and caring place for me. When I'm having a rough day, I can count on my home to boost my mood. I have had and am still having memories at my home. Like that one time when I was playing baseball in my back yard, and I hit the baseball so hard that it went over my yard (around 2 acres) and went over my fence, or when I was playing with my friend in my front yard during summer when there were a lot of spiders and we put one in my sister’s room when she was playing with one of her friends and we heard them scream. And once when I was around four years old, I caught a caterpillar and my mom told me I could keep him for a couple days. But, when I had to let him go, I did not want to (for some reason I still remember that) Whenever I walk into my home, it reminds me of how lucky I am to live in a safe, happy, loving, comfortable, peaceful place. In conclusion, that is why my home is my favourite place.
