A House is Different From Home
A House is different from Home.
A house is a place that is made of concrete, paint, wood, and bricks.
Home is very different.
Home is a place where you can go and know there is a place where everyone loves you.
No one is judged.
Everyone believes the tale you will tell.
Home holds memories and the things you love.
When we add emotions, a house transforms into a home.
Home is like the cold breeze on a warm, sunny day.
It is what you need most.
It’s the warm feeling when you’re shivering and you cuddle in a thick blanket.
It doesn’t matter what your home looks like, what’s the size, or what’s inside.
What matters is that it is Home.
Home can be anywhere but the things you love have to be there.
At home, you run away from all your worries.
You live, laugh, and love at home.
Home is the feeling of love and personality and it’s filled with identity.
To me, Home is the wonderful smell of flatbread,
the smell of coconut oil,
and my brother's silly jokes.
Home is unique.
Every Home has different memories
and personalities.
A house is something humankind can buy with money.
Home is priceless.
You can have all the money in the world but that money still won’t buy Home.
Home is more than a structure.
It has love, laughter, and personal experiences.
It’s abstract,
defined by relationships,
memories,
and has a sense of belonging.
Nothing should change that.
Well, I think that.
Maybe you do too.
I am gratified within my loving walls.
Home is my sanctuary and my safe haven.
I pray that everyone experiences the feeling: Home.
I’m thankful to Habitat for Humanity
because they make my prayers true.
