Why home is special to me

My home is not just a building made of walls and rooms, it is a place filled with love and memories. Home is where I can be myself as my family welcomes me for who I am and no one judges me for anything I do. I am free to speak in my mind, out loud and always feel heard by my parents whenever I need. I joke around with my family all the time and these simple things fill our home with laughter and joy. My creative side began at home where I could use my imagination freely and mistakes are allowed. I can explore ideas without fear of being teased. Home is where I learnt about my identity, culture and my roots. The hard work my parents do, I see it being reflected in the environment at home. This encourages me to have a positive, hardworking approach at home too. When we celebrate Eid(festival) we decorate our house beautifully, the whole family participates in cooking/helping and we give each other money and gifts. Home is a place that shapes us for our future. We learn how to talk walk being caring to others from a very early age and this learning all begins at home the fun and laughter I have with my siblings and parents are memories I will remember for life to me who is not where I just live? It is where I learned love and become who I want to be.
