Home is not a house
Home is not a house. It is a place where you feel welcome. This is why I love my home. My home has all my family. I have three brothers and a dog named Annie, who is crazy. Being around family and pets increases oxytocin, which is a feel-good hormone. My home has all of my personal items like my Lego collection and all my favourite things. When I am at home, I feel warm and cozy. I love the smell of pizza cooking and reading by the fire. When I am in my room, I enjoy reading chapter books and playing with my Rubix cube.
An important part of home is family. I have three little brothers. Their names are Kieran, Ari, and Sammy. Kieran is seven, and Ari and Sammy are five-year-old twins. Kieran is annoying, and
the twins are loud. My nine month old golden retriever, named Annie, is crazy. She jumps up at us and pulls me into huge snowdrifts. At one point I had to take her for a walk when the accumulated snow was three whole feet tall!
When I was born, my parents lived in London. We lived in a condo. My room was bright yellow. Just before I turned one, we moved to Carrying Place. I stayed there in a bungalow for about a year. Then we moved to our current house, where my brothers were born, and we got our dog. Sadly, about six years after we moved, our cat from London died. But three years later, we got our puppy
