What a Home Means to Me
A home is not just a place or a building, it is a place where you feel loved and cared for. Whenever I feel sad or have a tough day, my parents are always there for me. At home I never feel upset or sad because in my home, there is a lot of positive energy and love. A home is a place where I feel very comfortable and safe. Whenever I feel sick, my parents are always there for me. Whenever I feel bored, I always have a little brother to play with. In a home where my family is, is when I feel so much happiness that not even words can express. In a home, there is so much laughter and joy everyday. Without a home, there is no happiness or love. A home is like an extra parent to me. My home is the heart of my family because it is what keeps me and my family together and makes us have so much love for each other. The living room is my favourite room in the house because that is where me and my family have fun the most. A home is built with many emotions and feelings. There are so many memories in a home that I will never forget. Even if you move houses, it doesn’t change a thing because a home can't always be a physical object, but it is always a place with so many feelings, emotions, love, and nostalgic moments you will never forget in your lifetime. Habitat for Humanity gives homes to people that are in need and shows people that a home can be more than just a building. Thank you so much, Habitat for Humanity! This is what a home or a family means to me.
