Home is where you get back up and try again. Home is having people around you that you can trust, people you can talk to about anything, including your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. People you feel safe to be yourself around. Home is where you feel loved. Home is having a place to grow. Sometimes, it might feel that your family is being mean, but they are just teaching you to become the best person you can be. They love you enough to help you be a better person. Home is where you learn and grow. Home is where your culture shines. Where you eat yummy foods, listen to special music, and share in your family’s values. Home is where you are respected for all the things that make you YOU. Home is more than just walls and a roof. Home is a place filled with love and acceptance. Home is safe and secure.
