Meaning of Home

To me the meaning of home is a place where I feel accepted in every way. It's a place where I can express myself without being judged. Home is where my loved ones stay and where I feel safe. Home is a place where I matter, a place for me to grow up strong and healthy. Home is a wonderful place where I can learn new things and have fun. I read a story in class and it’s called “Wonder by: R.J Palacio”. It's about a boy called “Auggie” who had a facial difference and he often got bullied at school. This connects with the meaning of home because to Auggie home was the only place where he could show and say how he felt when he was bullied, without getting judged. Home is the place where I am at the highs and the lows but no matter what, my family would support me in every possible way. Everyone might have different opinions about the meaning of home but I think home is more than just a place, it’s my entire childhood where I grew up, where I had beautiful moments with my family that will last a lifetime.
