What Home Means To Me

For me home is not just a place that you sleep or just a shelter. Home is where you have people that love and care for you, it is where you have laughter and have fun. I have fun when I play soccer with my brothers and I have laughter when I sit down in my living room and make jokes with my brothers. I feel at home when I get together with my whole family, get popcorn and watch a movie. I feel like I'm at home when I smell my Mom’s cooking as soon as I come back from school. Home is where there is peace and where everyone is calm and doesn't have a lot of arguments like mine. I feel at home when I'm happy and not sad. When I'm at home, everyone is helping each other and being kind to each other. Also, I feel at home when I'm safe and know that nothing bad will happen because I'm at home. I don't feel at home when my family isn't there. I'm so lucky to have a family. If I didn't, then I would be lonely and so sad. For me, home means to play board games with my family. This is what home means to me.
