Home

The word ‘home’ means to me a safe feeling. It means a place where I belong. It means a place where I can express my feelings. I don’t mean the actual building itself. I mean home where I feel safe, where I belong and where I can express my feelings. At home, I feel safe because everything I need, everything I love and everything I am is home. Home is where I belong. It's where everyone is treated equally. Home is where I can express my emotions. I can be sad without hiding my tears. I can be happy without being controlled. Home is a place not having to fear, fitting in and feeling safe.
