What Home Means To Me

Home isn't four walls and a roof, it's about the people around you. For me, home was in lots of different places but no matter where I went, I was with my family. It was hard for us to leave our home country. We had to leave lots of family and friends. We had to move from our home country to Canada. My mom used to cry because she thought that my dad wouldn't come with us. When I'm at home, my mom would make her delicious rice with chicken. Home is where I can express myself, be myself. Home is made up of memories, like when you go to the beach and you go swimming, or when you have a spa night with your sister/brother, or when you share stories or how your day was at dinner time. Home isn't about video games or your nintendo switch, it's about spending time with your family. Home is about your family and making memories with them. By: Tiffany
