What Home Means to Me

Home isn’t just a place where you feel comfy and safe. It's where you feel fun, happy, and make lasting memories. Good smells like chicken and rice, smoothies blending while laughter ignites. Hockey matches erupting on the TV like a true Canadian family cheering for the Oilers and Leaf's to win. I smell the popcorn in the building. Sounds fill our home like laughter and food sizzling. Fortunate to be relaxing and sleeping safely in a warm bed. I feel the base beating in the music. My brother is trying hard in video games. I'm dunking and shooting on my medium size mini hoop. My room is full of hockey medals and paintings of my favorite hockey players like McDavid, Sydney Crosby, and Wayne Gretzky. This is what home means to me.
