HOME IS A LOVING PLACE

To me a house is a place where other people live and feel safe. A home is not just bricks, it's a place that is made out of love and happiness. A home to me is where I grew up. It’s that one safe and loving place where all of my family’s memores are stored with laughter and smiles. When I come home I can hear my cat coming to see me at the door. I go to the kitchen and see my mom getting the fresh baked cookies out of the oven to put on the big cookie plate. On cold nights the whole family gathers around the camp fire to make marshmallows and tell stories to each other. Sometimes it is cold at nights so I wrap myself in the blanket which is as warm as the marshmallows. When it is night my cat comes to sleep with me. We enjoy the time together. PS I really appreciate that Habitat for Humanity is helping people who work so hard but can’t afford a home that they deserve.
