Home is my Happy Place

Home is a place where I feel loved. I feel like I’m wrapped in a big warm blanket. Home is my happy place no matter what. I feel a tiny light in my heart and every time I step in my home that little light spreads and spreads, and now I’m not the only one who is happy, everyone is. Even when it is a little crazy and chaotic, it still feels like the place I love. I love to go to my happy place it makes me feel better and calmer. Every time I step in my house after school I smell this delightful smell of making fried dodo, which is plantain that is fried and fried rice from where I come from. We eat spicy food. I will always remember the place that I call home. When I first got to my home the first thing I saw was the stairs that led down stairs. To me they look like magic. I took one step. I loved the stairs, I took another and another and now I can call that house home. This project is important because many families don't have a stable house or live in a bad environment. Most homes should be stable. Some people smoke a lot and drink alcohol. Don’t worry Habitat for humanity to the rescue. I know people want their children to live in a good environment. Habitat for humanity can help with that.
