Meaning of Home

Home is a place to feel safe and loved. It’s the feeling of seeing my cat come up to me when I get home. Home is my family, making me feel safe every day. It’s the smell of dinner cooking while I sit in my special spot. It is the place I get to read my books. It is important to have a roof over your head so you aren’t cold and some people do not have that. My home makes me happy because I feel safe and loved. It's where I get to be free and play with my many toys, my Legos are my favorite, I build them in my special spot. It's a very special place to me because I get to live with my Mom, my Grandma and my Grammy. An extra special thing about when I am home is my favorite pet cat, Gray. He keeps me happy by playing and cuddling in my home. It is my special place. I have my warm, comfortable bed that makes me feel so good. The meaning of home is important to me because it shows that not everyone has a home. Everyone deserves a home because there are so many people who don’t get to have a loving home. It is important to feel safe and loved. Habitat for Humanity does good work helping people finally feel like they are home.
