Meaning of Home

Home is not just a place to live; it is a place with memories and warmth. Have you ever thought about how people turn cold houses into warm homes? There are many things at home that are full of memories, they are not very expensive, but they are very important to me. For example, my toy mouse, named Mr. Mouse, was a gift from my mother. It accompanied me for five years and was my best friend. My dog is my most loyal family member. Every time I go home the moment that I open the door there is excited barking and warm hugs, this makes all tiredness go away. I believe there is a place in your home where you feel very comfortable and relaxed. I remember when I was very young, my favorite thing after school was to hide in my bedroom, because I felt very calm and safe when I stayed in a quiet place. Lastly, I’m going to talk about family. What is a family? I think a family is someone who loves you or takes care of you. For example, my mother has a busy job, but she will use her free time to play with me. My father needs to take care of my studies and our food. In conclusion, home is made up of love, memories and family. Love turns a house into a home. Thank you for Habitat for Humanity for helping others find a forever home!
